What we do

Six practice areas. Nine visa categories.

We do not run a factory. Each matter is opened, prepared and submitted by Tasneem personally — which is why our first-submission rate sits where it does.

How we work

A measured, deliberate process.
Built to submit once.

Most rejections we see come from rushed first submissions. We move slowly through gathering — and quickly through submission and adjudication.

01
Day 1

Initial consultation

A 30-minute call to understand your circumstances. No obligation, no junior associate — Tasneem opens every file personally.

02
Week 1

Strategy & document plan

A written matter plan: visa category, pathway, document checklist, expected timelines and known risks.

03
Weeks 2–6

Document gathering

We coordinate apostilles, translations, police clearances and medicals across countries — so you do not chase couriers.

04
Weeks 6–14

Submission & tracking

Application submitted at VFS or DHA. We track adjudication actively and respond to any RFI within 24 hours.

05
Outcome

Outcome & onboarding

On approval, we walk you through validity, conditions, renewal calendar and the path to permanent residence.

The practitioner

Tasneem
Hanslo.

I started Legitimus because the immigration practices I saw treated clients as files. People were processed. Applications were rushed. Outcomes were uneven.

Fifteen years and a few thousand applications later, I still open every matter myself. I draft the motivational letters. I review the supporting bundles. I sit on hold with Home Affairs when nobody else will.

There is no substitute for a careful first submission.

If you are looking for the cheapest visa shop, we will not be a fit. If you are looking for a practitioner who will treat your matter with the gravity it deserves — we should talk.

Said about us

Long-term relationships,
not transactions.

Tasneem handled our spousal visa and PR five years later with the same calm precision. We never once felt like a number.

Common questions

Frequently
asked.

If yours is not here, the consultation is the right place — most matters are too specific to answer well in writing.

Ask in consultation

From engagement to a submitted application, expect 2–8 weeks depending on the supporting documents required (police clearances and medicals are the usual long pole). Adjudication at VFS/DHA then takes 6–14 weeks for most categories.
